To delete your Ambient Health account and all associated data, send an email request to our privacy team.

Request Account Deletion via Email

You will receive a confirmation within 30 days. Your account will be permanently deleted after verification.

You have the right to request deletion of your Ambient Health account and all associated data at any time.

What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove:

  • Personal Information: Your name, email, phone number, and contact details
  • Health Data: All medical records, health profiles, and wellness information
  • Family Information: Family units, member profiles, and relationships
  • Chat History: All conversations with AI health assistants
  • Documents: Uploaded files, images, and medical documents
  • Wearable Data: Activity, sleep, and health metrics from connected devices
  • Account Settings: Preferences, notifications, and app settings

What We Retain

For legal and security purposes, we may retain certain information for a limited time:

  • Transaction Records: Billing and payment history (required by law for 7 years)
  • Audit Logs: Security and access logs (90 days for HIPAA compliance)
  • Legal Holds: Data subject to legal proceedings or investigations

After the retention period, all remaining data is permanently deleted.

How to Request Deletion

Option 1: Request via Email

Send an email to privacy@ambienthealth.io with:

  • Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Your registered email address
  • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account

We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email.

Option 2: In-App Deletion (Coming Soon)

We're working on adding self-service account deletion directly in the Ambient Wallet App settings.

Important Notes

⚠️ Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

  • You will lose access to all your health data
  • Family members in your family unit will need to be reassigned to another admin or removed
  • Any active subscriptions will be cancelled
  • You cannot reuse your email address for a new account for 90 days

Partial Data Deletion

If you only want to delete specific data without closing your account, you can:

  • Remove individual documents: Delete specific files from your documents section
  • Clear chat history: Delete conversations with AI assistants
  • Disconnect wearables: Remove device connections and their data
  • Leave family units: Remove yourself from family groups
  • Delete health records: Remove specific medical records (imported records may need to be re-requested from providers)

For partial deletion requests, please email support@ambienthealth.io with details about what you'd like to remove.

Timeline

  • Immediate: Your account access is disabled
  • 30 Days: Active data deletion begins
  • 90 Days: All data removed from backups and archives
  • 7 Years: Transaction records retained per legal requirements
